Patch 1.4 for "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" will give players access to several online features and aims to bring new challenges for the game.
With the patch, users can now enjoy the Wonder Trade option, connection to the Global Trade Station, redemption of Mystery Gifts, use of the Game Sync feature as well as using the Player Search System to connect the other fans.
"Pokémon X and Y" will also be getting the Patch 1.4 update similar to "Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." Just like previous game updates, players still need to manually download and update the titles to the latest version from the Internet.
Afterwards, a prompt would appear on the screen and, once the user agrees to the update, the download process would begin. Players can check the changelog for the update in the View Details option in the Nintendo eShop.
Flygon, which is a Pokémon used by a key character in the game, may finally be getting a mega evolution. However, it may not happen during this update since developers are still working on the Pokémon's mega evolved design.
The developers have confirmed, though, that they a mega evolution will be coming anytime soon. The mega Flygon will most likely be making an appearance in the seventh generation of the franchise, although no definite date has been revealed.
It seems like fans are very excited for the mega evolution of the insectoid Pokémon since they have been posting designs for Flygon. This may even make the developers' job easier since inspirations for the highly-anticipated artwork have been swarming the Internet.
"Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" were released in 2014. They are RPGs developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for 3DS. They are part of the sixth generation of the "Pokémon" series and serve as enhanced remakes of 2002's "Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire."
