Release date delays are good in the long run---and it seems the upcoming "Quantum Break" is testament to this. Xbox boss gives more than thumbs up to the exclusive game.
"Quantum Break" for Xbox One has been delayed twice with a first release date set for 2014. Fans have been very patient as Remedy Entertainment then pushed the launch further to 2015, only to announce another delay last April.
"With so many Xbox One games launching this year, moving 'Quantum Break' to 2016 extends our incredible portfolio into next year with a monster new IP," said Microsoft Studios' Shannon Loftis on Remedy's official site.
With all the time to update and upgrade the time-bending Remedy game, latest news now reveal that "Quantum Break" is now up and running, with a goal to conquer in the coming Gamescom during the first week of August.
Answering a fan question about "Quantum Break" appearing in the August event, Xbox boss Phil Spencer shared the game's update on his official Twitter account. "In Gamescom review today. I'm very happy with gave @remedygames the time to get ready for this show," shared Spencer.
Come "Quantum Break" Xbox One release date, gamers will experience a time-bending action-packed adventure game that took a lot of time to complete. According to Remedy Entertainment, "'Quantum Break' fuses an intense action game with top-of-the-line live action elements into one revolutionary entertainment adventure."
Development of "Quantum Break" began in 2013 and while there have been numerous gameplay trailers released as the game nears its release date, IGN reported that more details will be coming during Gamescom 2015. Remedy's Sam Lake said, "We were at Gamescom last year with 'Quantum Break.' We had great fun."
"We'll be there again this year-the next time we are releasing new material. We have a theater on the show floor where every one of you is welcome to check us out and see the new, exclusive 'Quantum Break' demo."
