“Bones” season 11 is one of the most awaited shows this fall and it just might open with a story arc that is centered on lies and deception. Writer and producer Michael Peterson had recently revealed the title of the upcoming season’s premiere episode on social media.
He tweeted earlier this month that the episode’s title is going to be “The Revelation in the Remains. However, just last week, he made a follow-up tweet.
“#Bones premiere prep day 2 – title tease! #Season11 @BONESonFOX,” he wrote as a caption to a photo that said “The Loyalty in the Lie.”
Apparently, both Peterson and writer Jonathan Collier have stepped up as the main show runners of the highly watched CBS series after executive producer Stephen Nathan decided to leave the show.
Neither Peterson nor Collier have given any specific details on what the episode’s storyline is going to be, but an official synopsis indicated that the “Bones” season 11 plot will be picking up six months after Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth decided to move to a new town and acquire new jobs in order to live happy, death-free lives.
However Carter Matt has reported that the duo will eventually return to their roots at the Jeffersonian after a “murder unlike any other draws them back to investigate with their former colleagues.”
Apparently, Booth and Brennan had to be back on the set since it was “the biggest permanent set ever built for a television show.” Plus, considering that “Bones” is still going to go on as “Bones,” the show is highly likely not going to survive without its two lead stars.
“From a practical standpoint, we cannot build another permanent set,” Nathan told The Hollywood Reporter prior to leaving the show in the hands of Peterson and Collier. “The mystery and the fun of season 11 is how is this team going to reassemble.”
Nathan revealed that there will be a “time lapse.” “We will be picking them up as they have been living a life that they have been wanting to live,” he added. “From that, they will have to go back to the lives they had before. And, clearly, they will be different people and different circumstances will allow us to continue in a new life.”
