Sony has hinted on the "Persona 5" release date in its latest advertisement.
According to VideoGamer.com, the Sony advert was printed in the latest issue of Edge magazine. It featured the release schedule of upcoming games such as "Just Cause 3," "Hitman," "Mirror's Edge: Catalyst" and "Tom Clancy's The Division."
It also confirmed the 2016 launch window for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," "The Last Guardian," "Ratchet & Clank," "Doom," "Horizon: Zero Dawn," "Mass Effect Andromeda," "Street Fighter V," "Dreams," "Dead Island 2" and "Final Fantasy VII Remake."
The advert also revealed that the "Persona 5" release date will be next year. Its release window for Europe will hopefully be announced soon. The "No Man's Sky" release date is only listed as "TBA" with no year.
It was previously reported that the "Persona 5" release date may still be slated for this year. An Atlus PR confirmed the news through the NeoGAF thread on the "Persona" localization. "Pretty much this," NeoGAF user AtlusPrime wrote. "Also, this interview was done back during E3 - first day, I think. Still on track for 2015."
There were also speculations that the "Persona 5" release date may happen between October and December as per Sega Sammy's financial report. Sega's forecast indicated that four retail games will be released in Japan during that period as well.
However, it is confirmed that the "Persona 5" release date will be delayed again for next year.
"Persona 5" revolves around the adventure and growth of high school students. The protagonist, who has transferred to Shujin High School, will meet new friends. His new life will come with all types of events.
Character designer Shigenori Soejima has revealed that the protagonist of Atlus' RPG has set up a ruse of some sort in projecting himself as the quiet type.
Arsene, his Persona, will give off a classic vibe in terms of his appearance. Arsene's cape has been designed in a way that gives the image of a thief who can reach places where no one can.
