It has been a long time after Elsa and Anna debuted on the big screen and it's high time that the film's director shared updates about the upcoming sequel, "Frozen 2."
Latest reports reveal that while "Frozen 2" has been officially announced, the people behind the sequel's plot has been quite in a conundrum. A report by MTV revealed what "Frozen 2" director Chris Buck has on his mind for the newest adventure of Elsa and Anna.
"After the feature, and because of how it was received, we were all overwhelmed by the 'Frozen' phenomenon," "Frozen 2" director said. "It took us a while just to even get back into things and do the short. And it was as we were doing the short that we started thinking about the next one."
"We're just starting," added Buck. "Jen [Lee] and I are just getting back into the story room together and throwing ideas around. We have an overall idea, a concept, which I think is a very strong one. I'm very excited about doing it."
While "Frozen 2" still has a lot of development to cover, the production team has been committed to ensuring that the next adventure will be equally mesmerizing as the first. Along with all the expectation comes the idea behind the new plot for "Frozen 2." According to the same interview, Buck and the entire team at Disney have been working on the plot for the sequel, and there have been a few stories on the drawing board.
"It was this idea one story artist had. What if Elsa got a cold? What would happen? What kind of havoc would come from that? And then our imaginations just started going," explained the "Frozen 2" director.
"The other idea that came up is that Elsa would want to do something for Anna because she's missed so many birthdays. So she gets this cold, and even in the midst of it, she's still going to make this party as perfect as she can - and nothing is going to stop her," Buck added.
