"Dragon Ball Super" episode 20 is entitled "An Unprecedented Threat Bears Down On Earth! At This Time, An Old Friend Comes To Visit Bulma...!?"
The latest installment of the series showed Jaco warning the humans about Frieza's imminent arrival on Earth. Attack of the Fanboy commented that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 20 has the same issue as its predecessor.
Episode 20 still has an odd pace and had too much recycled content from the "Resurrection of F" movie. The first half of the episode showed Frieza preparing for his arrival. However, it failed to explain what the villain was doing before he was ready to come to Earth.
An interesting fight scene between Goku and Vegeta was shown. As shown in the trailer, a blue aura was emitted when the two Saiyans' fists met. This gave viewers a preview of the Super Saiyan Blue form.
The publication added that "Dragon Ball Super" would hopefully explain how Goku and Vegeta are able to reach this new form. "Resurrection of F" did not detail how the two Saiyans achieved Super Saiyan Blue form.
Jaco arrived on Earth and warned the others about Frieza. One difference that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 20 had from the movie is that the Galactic Patrolman got to meet Trunks and Goten.
Unfortunately, though, there was no further background detail given regarding Jaco. The "Dragon Ball Super" manga has information on the character.
According to Krank.ie, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 20 should have given Android 18 a stronger role. In the "Resurrection of F" movie, she stayed at home to take care of her kid while Krillin (who is weaker) flew off to battle Frieza and his army.
"Alas, things are no different here," the website noted. "It seems like a pretty poor character 'progression' for her."
Android 18 used to be a powerful villain is now given a smaller role in the series. With any luck, she will be able to get some action some time in "Dragon Ball Super."
