HollywoodLife.com reported that the "Same Old Love" singer is being held back from a relationship with Niall Horan because of her past with Justin Bieber. An insider revealed that Selena Gomez is worried about meeting the "Purpose" hitmaker again.
"Selena's anxious about seeing Justin again," a source told the publication.
"She's in such a good place right now, happier than she's been in ages, but when it comes to Justin they're always a lot of intense emotions. Texting and talking on the phone is one thing, but seeing him face to face always does a number on her."
Last month, it was reported that Selena Gomez and Niall Horan were spotted having dinner with friends, including 1D member Liam Payne. Fans were quick to ship the two singers and sparked speculations that they were dating.
Recently, the rumored couple was seen kissing at Jenna Dewan-Tatum's 35th birthday party at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles. Another insider told the publication that the two singers spent the entire evening together. They also were also said to have left the party together.
"In the past Justin has always had such a hold on [Selena]," the insider added. "She's telling herself she's strong, but it's hard not to worry it could happen again. Right now she wants to give things with Niall a chance and she doesn't want Justin to confuse her."
According to ET Online, Selena Gomez has chosen which album is better: Justin Bieber's "Purpose" or One Direction's "Made in the A.M." This comes in the middle of speculations surrounding her relationship with 1D star Niall Horan.
In a screenshot taken by Twitter user Selena Gomez Source, the "Same Old Love" singer has advised one fan on Instagram to get "Made in the A.M."
The publication noted that competition between the albums started when Bieber allegedly slammed 1D over Snapchat for dropping their album on the same day as "Purpose."
