Fans of the Straw Hat Pirates are in for some exciting news as "One Piece Film: GOLD" is set to release in July, 2016.
"One Piece Film: GOLD," which is the thirteenth theatrical release of the movie series will be directed by Hiraoki Miyamoto with Eiichiro Oda as the executive producer.
Speculations reveal that the film will focus on Gol.D Roger. It is also said that the upcoming film will probably be based on the two previous "One Piece" films adapted from Eiichiro Oda's manga, the "Strong World" and "Z."
Another article by Crunchy Roll stated that "One Piece Film: Gold" will be Miyamoto's directorial debut on the silver screen. He already worked as the third series director of the television Aime from episode 352 through episode 679. Oda also said that fans will be delighted to see as his style and brand will be apparent in it, Fandom Post noted.
The main voice actors making up the cast include Mayumi Tanaka as Luffy, Kazuya Nakai as Zoro, Akemi Okamura as Nami, Kappei Yamaguchi as Usopp, Yuriko Yamaguchi as Nico, Ikue Otani as Chopper, Hiroaki Hirata as Sanji and Kazuki Yao as Franky.
Report also states that Aime director Hiroaki Miyamoto, who helmed "One Piece" episodes 352-679 and assistant director for "One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island," will be part of the "One Piece Film: Gold" as director. The upcoming anime movie will also be penned by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, the scriptwriter of live-action "Black Butler" film, live-action "Liar Game: The Final Stage" film and live-action "The Perfect Insider" TV series.
Fans will definitely want to know everything and how strong Roger was, to what Devil Fruit he used, if any. He is considered to be the strongest pirate to have existed, stronger than Whitebeard, whom fans saw wreak havoc during the Marineford Arc.
