The Charlotte Hornets has been on a losing streak since 2016 started but Jeremy Lin has reportedly been showing an improvement in his performance and a possible comeback for the Linsalinity phenomenon in the NBA.

As reported by the ESPN, the North Carolina team suffered its seventh straight loss on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets, 95-92. While the Harvard University graduate only scored two points in the game, he was able to assist his teammates in scoring.

On Saturday, the 27-year-old basketball player displayed a more impressive performance scoring 26 points, as told by CBS Sports.

During the Los Angeles Clippers game according to Hoops Hype, he got a basket from a fast break despite being surrounded by all the playing Clippers team members. At one point, he even got Cole Aldrich falling on his bum with a sudden crossover. In the end, the Hornets lost to the Clippers, 97-83.

When the Charlotte Hornets faced the Phoenix Suns last Wednesday, Jeremy Lin also showed some bits of Linsanity. At the last few minutes of the first quarter, the defenders of the Suns somewhat became mere traffic cones, as described by Fox Sports, when the free agent simply swerved and passed them by one-by-one. But the game was another loss for Lin's team, 111-102. The defeat followed losses from the Toronto Raptors, Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors since 2016 started.

Prior to the recent losses, though, the Christian basketball player has expressed that he's taking 2016 differently.

"I think I grew a lot as a person, I learned a lot about myself," he Xinhua News. "I took steps in terms of slowing down and appreciating life instead of being so fixated on what I wanted to accomplish."

Following the Linsanity phenomenon, Jeremy Lin also said he's not letting the pressure to win get to him now that he's with the Charlotte Hornets.

"I'm just taking it one day at a time, that's just a part of me," he explained. "Trying to enjoy each day," said Lin, who did not think too much into the future."
