The Chicago Bulls are undergoing through a lot of changes after new head coach Fred Hoiberg took Tom Thibodeau's position.
The transition could be considered decent as the Bulls currently stand at 22-15 with Jimmy Butler spearheading the team. However, with a team as deep as the Bulls, fans and analysts are expecting more wins.
Also, roles have changed in this line-up as Nikola Mirotic is getting more time than two-time All-Star, Joakim Noah and it looks like the center is not pleased at all with the situation.
Noah told Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson that he was not expecting to see his minutes decrease this much and ride the bench for a long period of time.
"I mean, I don't know what to say. I wasn't expecting to play such a limited role," Noah said. "I'm trying to stay focused on what I can do to help. That's it. It's not about complaining. It's about trying to find solutions. I want to be part of solutions and try to help figure it out."
He believes he still has a lot to show and contribute to this Bulls squad but he understands that it is a process, since he went down with an injury.
"I want to play all the time. I think any competitor does. I've said that all along," Noah said. "But this (role) won't change my commitment to the team. I've never been about anything but winning and the team."
"I'm blessed to play this game for a living. Before the (shoulder) injury, I felt I was finding a rhythm. I just need to get back to that. I feel like I will."
With that said, could the Bulls have other things in mind and deal Noah to another team that needs inside presence? Stay tuned.
