The second "Digimon Adventure Tri." is yet to hit Japanese theaters but additional information has already surfaced on the third movie.

The latest trailer posted on YouTube features interesting information and characters of the upcoming second movie. The video features familiar characters such as Vikemon and Rosemon as well as additional characters that will only reveal their role once the film is released.

The second half of the trailer is silent but fans are given enough to get excited about the third iteration. First is the interaction of Patamon and Takeru in a rather heartfelt scene. Patamon is shown saying "Goodbye Takeru" with Takeru shouting for Patamon.

Second is the confirmation of the release date of the third film. While the trailer did not say anything specific, they are going to release the third iteration this summer.

The emotional interaction alone Patamon and Takeru got fans speculating on what will actually happen in the third movie.  The comments section on Reddit that focuses on the upcoming third film is full of possible stories including Takeru's experience when Patamon supposedly died in the TV series.

For fans looking for a detailed look on the trailer especially on the second half, blogger Bokutachino Digital World has posted screen caps as well as translation on select text for better understanding.  Of course, the trailer alone is particularly heartbreaking considering it will feature two well-known characters in the story. But no synopsis has been released yet that would tell what to expect when the film is released this summer.

Those who want to catch-up on "Digimon Adventure Tri" can stream the episodes on Crunchyroll according to Anime Herald. The first movie is broken up as episodes and available for premium members of the website on select countries worldwide. The second film will be released on Blu-ray format this April 2 and will be soon available for streaming in Crunchyroll.
