
Christina Aguilera may have won the fight amid gossip that pal Blake Shelton apparently wanted to kick her out of "The Voice" in favor of Gwen Stefani. News and rumors even has it that the No Doubt front woman has been making moves to sort the alleged issue out with the "Dirrty" singer.
In a post on her social media page, the "The Voice" season 10 judge expressed her delight to be literally back on the show.
"Back to work!" the 35-year-old singer posted on Instagram a few days ago tagging NBC "The Voice." "Glam in progress."
Prior to the social media news update about her upcoming comeback on the talent show, it was rumored that Christina Aguilera was reportedly angry with Blake Shelton for pushing to bring back girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
But as told by Gossip Cop, Star's claim that the country singer was campaigning for the "Used To Love You" singer was "fabricated."
In addition to that, Hollywood Life reported that Gavin Rossdale's ex-wife has also been wanting to sit down with the MasterClass instructor to clear the rumors and possibly apologize.
"Gwen wants to take Christina out for a fabulous dinner and she wants Blake to come along too," an insider revealed. "Gwen was eager to clear the air with Christina so she reached out to her with the sweet gesture. She wants to let her know how much she respects her and that she has absolutely no intention of replacing her on 'The Voice.'"
The No Doubt singer also wanted the upcoming season of the talent show to be drama-free.
"When they all reunite on the show, Gwen wants to make sure there are no ill will feelings about her coming back as a mentor," the source further said. "Plus she doesn't want there to be weird vibes between Christina and Blake."
News reports that Gwen Stefani will mentor this upcoming season,as Christina Aguilera sits on the red chair again, has yet to be confirmed. As reported by Us Weekly, it was Blake Shelton apparently rooting for Stefani to become a mentor this time.
