There's a whole lot of talk about the rewrite of the next "Star Wars" and Hayden Christensen's fans are worried he might return to episode 8 after all. Does that mean Darth Vader too?

The next "Star Wars" installment has already been the talk of the town soon after "The Force Awakens" has been released worldwide. While there's still no official synopsis of Episode 8, it seems the return of Hayden Christensen is among the favorite topic of fans of the epic franchise.

Previous reports have already revealed that "Star Wars" star Hayden Christensen who appeared in the franchise as Anakin Skywalker will return to Episode 8 as his good Jedi character. While initially, reports have pointed towards Hayden Christensen's return as a sign that Darth Vader will return to the next "Star Wars" installment, it seems Episode 8 will be taking a different turn and probably a different Jedi anti-thesis this time around.

In a report by Cinemablend, it has been pointed out that while there's already an idea for the plot of the next "Star Wars" installment, it still could be changed and re-written to fit an entirely new focal point for the legendary franchise. "While production was meant to get underway very soon, it looks like things may be slightly delayed as the script may be getting one final rewrite before it's screen ready," the report pointed out.

"The purpose of the rewrite, interestingly, is reportedly to reduce two new character roles to be a smaller part of 'Star Wars: Episode 8'," it added.

While there are a dozen other speculations about which characters would be taken down a notch for the next "Star Wars" film, one possible change could be the speculated return of Hayden Christensen to Episode 8. Flashbacks were initially speculated to be the possible route of Hayden Christensen's character, at least to explain more of what happened to Darth Vader between "The Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens." Now however, it seems Episode 8 is choosing to divert all attention to a different breed of characters in the "Star Wars" universe.

If Hayden Christensen does not return to Episode 8, is it still possible to see Jedi Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader somewhere in the next "Star Wars" installments?
