With the release date coming near, "Attack On Titan" season 2 is getting something new in its upcoming series follow-up.
The fans who have been waiting for the sequel series are desperately hoping that it would turn out to be more successful that the two live-action films that were released last year. The biggest disappointment with the live-action films is that it didn't follow the original storyline that fans had hoped.
Crossmap reported that the sequel series will be introducing some new titans. While most of the gigantic humanoid creatures look very similar to humans, there will reportedly be an intelligent ape-like titan, unlike anything that fans have seen before. The difference with this new titan and those that came before is that it will be able to talk and may allegedly be the smartest titan any of the lead characters will have encountered before.
There is a lot of original material from the manga series but "Attack On Titan" season 2 will reportedly veer away from the original storyline. Some familiar faces, like Renier Braun and Bertolt Hoover, will be returning to the upcoming sequel series and they will be revealed in their Colossal and Armoured Titan forms.
The much-awaited "Attack On Titan" season 2 is confirmed to be out in February 2016 but has not yet been given an exact release date.
It may be released after Koei Tecmo's "Attack On Titan Game" which just got its third official trailer released a few days ago.
The "Attack On Titan" game will be released on Feb. 18, 2016, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan. The North American and European release date is set in 2016, as reported by Gematsu.
"Attack On Titan" is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The series began as a manga series which then expanded into an anime series and a live-action movie later on.
