"Xenoblade Chronicles X" English and Japanese games have done well so far, but Nintendo is already looking to expand their world in a possible sequel.
While the "Xenoblade Chronicles X" has just seen its English release, it looks like Nintendo is keen on working on the sequel of the game.
According to a rumor posted on TiLMENDOMiNATiON's Twitter page, the sequel of the game would reportedly be more story based and would allow players to easily transfer saved data from the Wii U to the Nintendo NX.
However, Gamenesia noted that the game's director, Tatsuya Takahasi, confirmed that the next title he is working on won't be in the "Xenoblade Series."
According to My Nintendo News, there is no release date set for the Nintendo NX version of the game as it is still unconfirmed by the company. It would then be possible that apart from a "Xenoblade Chronicles X" Japanese sequel game release, there will also be an English version made for gamers in North America and Europe.

The game is one of the most popular role-playing games in Japan and has already crossed the seas to North America and Europe. It is reportedly dubbed as "one of the best RPG video games" of 2015 due to its gameplay, breathtaking graphics and open world environment.
With the talks of the sequel going around, "Xenoblade Chronicles X" opens in the year 2054 when humanity is forced to leave Earth via interstellar ark ships before the planet got destroyed by two battling alien races. Players must now play customizable characters that coexist with the indigenous creatures on a dangerous alien planet while protecting humanity. It features an open-world design that players can freely explore on foot or in large humanoid robots, as noted by Wiki.
