In the last few months, Hilary Duff got a lot of media attention; however it was not for her upcoming movie or TV series. She was talked about for her divorce from Mike Comrie.
A few days back Daily Mail reported that Duff and her former husband Comrie enjoyed a family dinner with their son Luca. So considering the fact that their divorce was finalised a few days back, was this just a move to keep her son close to his father?
Duff and Comrie tied the knot in 2010 and their son was born in Mar. 2012. CBS reported about the birth of their son. Last year in March, Duff talked about her divorce from Comrie. US Magazine reported the details about how the relationship went bad. "Mike and I were very in love when we met," stated Duff.
"We both really wanted to get married. I'd been working since the age of 11 or 12, so making that choice at a young age seemed right for me. Maybe it wasn't, but we spent the majority of our time together really happy."
However with time the love vanished and the couple started falling apart. "It wasn't working well enough to stay together, but there was still a lot of love involved'' stated Duff. It was just a slow set-in of us not being the match that we used to be. "I'm lucky for the person he is and I am and how we decided to handle this."
Sometime back Cosmopolitan talked about Hilary's relationship status, how she grew from a Teen idol to a favorite actress of many. "I had a 26-year-old boyfriend," stated the 28-year old popular actress. ''So everyone can make their own assumptions about what I was doing." She was referring to Joel Madden whom she started dating in her teenage days.
Duff even talked about her virginity and other aspects of her personal life. "Don't be that stupid douche who loses the love of his life forever. Like me..." Tweeted Aaron Carter sometime last year. Carter and Duff had dated when they were teenagers. "Him reaching out through social media? It's ridiculous!" replied Duff in response to this tweet. "But then people do it all the time, like Chris Brown and Karrueche? Come on, guys. Keep it between text messages."
Hilary Erhard Duff came to limelight after she starred in TV series ''Lizzie McGuire'' which was aired between 2001 and 2004. She has worked in several movies including ''A Cinderella Story,'' ''In Search of Santa,'' ''She Wants Me,'' and even has rendered her voice in movies like ''Foodfight,'' ''In Search of Santa,'' and a few others.
