Jeremy Renner divorce from his estranged wife Sonni Pacheco has made the headlines. However, the divorce process is not the only thing that the "Mission Impossible 5" actor is very worried about.
According to multiple online reports, Renner is worried that his ex from British Columbia will be making an attempt to flee the country with their 21-month-old daughter Ava Berlin. It was Pacheco who filed for the divorce on December 5th last year, and the 44-year-old Renner is afraid that she will take off to Canada with their child.
Pacheco has reportedly demanded for physical custody of the adorable baby. Plus, she also mentioned in the divorce file that she had asked for her estranged husband to return her "stolen passport." However, a common friend of the former couple argued that, "She just wants independence."
Jeremy Renner's divorce was expected by many, especially as the public has been a witness to how their marriage started to crumble shortly after they tied the knot in January of last year. As claimed by an anonymous source, the couple "began to sleep separately" and have actually decided to split only 10 months into their marriage.
Pacheco cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the filing. As reported by TMZ, the beautiful Canadian model is demanding for money that will cover her rent and moving expenses, spousal support, and that her estranged husband return her passport, birth certificate, and social security card.
The source claimed, "It wasn't traditional but he was hopeful they could make it work for Ava. He's devastated."
Shortly after the news of the Jeremy Renner divorce broke out, the actor took to his WhoSay account to post a photo that showed himself and his daughter on Sunday. He captioned the picture with, "It's very early to call, but going on the record to predict the highlight of my year 2015!!! Just sayin'... #restiscake."
