It has previously been reported that the new release's gameplay mechanics is being reconfigured to make the game last as long as possible. These improvements will reportedly open up more strategies and opportunities for the players.
Furthermore, the game will have 80 playable characters and 7 supporting characters which will purportedly include recent characters who appeared in the manga and in "Naruto the Movie."
New concept art for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has been recently released. One image shows Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke who seem to be mentally preparing for battle. The new generation of Sanin are playable and Team 7 is now ready to fight against a giant legendary creature in order to protect their world.
Ten-Tails, also known as Jubi, will appear in "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" and will be the villain in the story mode. Players can control Team 7 trio's abilities to defeat the creature. Ten-Tails is the combination of Kaguya Otsutsuki and the Shinju in order to reclaim the chakra inherited by her sons.
Vivid images from the epic fight between the young Sannins and Jubi are also included in the game's concept art. The big fight will require the ninjas to bust out their Kuchiyose no Jutsu, or Summoning Technique, to call out Gamakichi, Aoda, and Katsuyo. The artwork depicted one of the final battles in "Naruto Shippuden" where giant summoned beasts clash head to head.
Other images are of Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Gamakichi Katsuyu and Aoda fight Ten-Tails as well as small-scale versions of itself being created through fission. There are also artwork which showed Naruto/Kurama and Killer Bee/Gyuki battling against the Ten Tails. Plus, an explosive image of Sasuke fighting Naruto has also surfaced.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is a fighting game, developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Games. It will be published for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U and Microsoft Windows. This is the 6th and last installment of the "Ultimate Ninja Storm" series.
