Another miracle story unfolds after a newly married couple faced the greatest test of their faith. Danielle Josey Davis has only been married for seven months when a tragic motorcycle accident left her husband in a coma with a life support. All her doctors recommended that she needed to unplug his life support because there was a 90% chance he will never wake up.
Josey refused their recommendation and after three years, her husband miraculously woke up. "I knew that God could get us through that. I didn't think that it was too big for God," she said.
As reported by Yahoo News, Danielle kept him on life support and brought him to her mother's house where they took care of him 24 hours a day. After three years of the daunting task and determination, he suddenly woke up.
"I'm sure glad I married her," Matt Davis told ABC News today, though he doesn't remember Danielle from before the 2010 crash that caused his traumatic brain injury.
Two years before the accident, Matt's dad died and his mother became too ill to take care of him. Thus, his wife and mother were the ones who took care of him. Matt and Josey dated for only two months before they got married.
Now, Matt is undergoing a rehabilitation program to be able to walk again. He lost his long-term memory and doesn't know Josey before the crash. However, he is thankful for another chance to live his life with his wife and promises to keep his faith in God.
With the aid of a walker, he is trying to live a normal life again and is thankful that his wife is by her side. He has started to know her all over again and try out things they loved before.
