Kate Hudson, 22, is in Europe with friends for a trip of a lifetime. The Journalism student planned the trip with her girlfriends in Europe when she suddenly felt ill and went to see a doctor. To her surprise, the doctor revealed she was 33 weeks pregnant. She had no signs and symptoms of pregnancy, no baby bump and had regular menstruation.
She was in her trip of her life doing crazy stuff. She tried jumping off a cliff, riding bicycles, doing exercises, and partying all night drinking alcohol. She even ate anything she wanted. When she was in Europe going from one place to another, she noticed her body is acting weird. She decided to take a pregnancy test and to her surprise, she was pregnant. She called her boyfriend to relay the good news. They thought they have months to prepare.
She thought she was in her first trimester but when visited a doctor, she was already in her 33rd week, close to giving birth. She flew back to Australia and when she visited her doctor, it was revealed she was already 38 weeks pregnant. Flustered and surprised, she embraced being a surprise mommy.
Kate was scared if the baby is healthy. She had been drinking alcohol during parties back in Europe. She gave birth to a health baby boy weighing 6.5 pounds. Family and friends helped in the purchase of essentials and other baby needs. She was surprised that the baby is healthy. She thought that her big tummy was a result of eating too much while on her trip.
There are many cases like Kate's. In fact, a woman in Wales gave birth to a baby after visiting her doctor for treatment of her stomach ache. Kate is overwhelmed with the big responsibility she has now. Luckily, she has a supportive boyfriend and family that will guide her through motherhood.
