Who wants to hear more about Fat Amy's story? "Pitch Perfect 2" star Rebel Wilson says she does.

"Pitch Perfect 2" has gone big and with all the fuzz going on about the third installment, star Rebel Wilson, who portrays the funny and witty fan-favorite Fat Amy shared details about what was taken out of the first film, and what she thinks should be a whole new movie on its own --- Fat Amy's origin story.

In an report by EW, the 35-year-old actress revealed that there was originally a background story to her character Fat Amy that was removed from the first film. She said, " There's always the Fat Amy origin story, which could be really funny "There was also my backstory in the first movie that never made it on screen. The reason that Amy came to Barden University in the first place was that she was on a football scholarship, like she could kick really well."

Rebel Wilson rose to fame as the sleeper hit "Pitch Perfect" hit theaters in 2012. She portrayed the same character, Fat Amy, who joined the Barden Bellas because she knows how to sing, match-pitch and literally do the  "mermaid dance."

"Pitch Perfect 2" premiered this week and has grossed millions more compared to its budget. BoxOfficeMojo reported that the film grossed more than $36 million worldwide on its opening week, against the $29million budget of the sequel.

The sequel welcomes the return of the Barden Bellas as they attempt to regain their status after Rebel Wilson's Fat Amy is involved in a freak wardrobe malfunction during a performance at the John F. Kennedy Center For Performing Arts. In "Pitch Perfect 2" they are challenged to enter an international competition and their goal is to win where no other American team has ever won before.

Rebel Wilson is joined by the original "Pitch Perfect" cast members including Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Skylar Astin.
