Surely you have heard or received advice reminding you to "follow your body clock". Whether or not you follow this advice, it is a fact that the body observes regular schedule for specific processes.
The body is akin to a perfectly functioning machine, operating mechanically at certain hours of the day. This has been proven by Dr. Oz and other doctors, showing that our daily routine (or the lack of it) can make or break these processes. From detoxification to blood production and all other processes, here are the important hours of which the body does its work.
9pm to 11pm - Throughout this time, the body eliminates unnecessary or toxic chemicals from the antibody system or what are called the lymph nodes. During the hours of toxic elimination, experts advise spending time by relaxing, listening to soothing music, quieting down, or meditating. Being in prolonged unrelaxed states such as supervising children, doing work overtime, or even doing chores may affect your health in a negative way.
11pm to 1pm- These hours are allocated for liver detoxification. Ideally this should be processed in a state of deep sleep.
12am to 4am- During this time, the bone marrow produces blood. However, individuals with anemia should be asleep by this hour.
1am-3am- This is the time when the gall is in the process of detox. Just like the detoxification in the liver it is best to be in a deep sleep state of REM (Rapid Eye Movement) for the process to optimize.
3am to 5am- These hours are dedicated to detoxifying the lungs. This is the reasons why cough and asthma sufferers experience wheezing or severe coughs during this time. The respiratory tract is undergoing some cleansing at this time, so there is no real need to take cough medicines, to prevent interfering with the process of toxin removal.
