The latest "Street Fighter V" trailer revealed M. Bison as the latest character in Capcom's upcoming fighting video game's roster.

This will mark the iconic villain's debut on new generation consoles. M. Bison first appeared in "Street Fighter II" and the "Street Fighter V" trailer has confirmed that he will be appearing in the game. He is the fourth confirmed returning character for the title along with Ryu, Chun Li and Charlie Nash, long-time MIA soldier.

It was previously reported that Capcom's upcoming game will give fans something unexpected. The developers have confirmed that they are aiming to widen Capcom's fanbase and, at the same time, cater to old fans of the series.

"With 'Street Fighter 5,' we have a fantastic opportunity to create something with a larger scope, a game that encompasses all that 'Street Fighter' has become in the last few years, but which also expands on that to become something it has never been before as well," Yoshinori Ono, franchise producer, told Edge Magazine in an interview.

"So now we want to create something that nobody is expecting. It's going to be a title that caters to fans, of course, but one that also invites completely new players onto the scene."

The "Street Fighter V" trailer showed M. Bison emitting a purple energy thing with his moves. It may serve to drain meter or to deal more damage over time. The iconic villain still has his long-range, low-hitting slide and has the ability to juggle a short range version of psycho orb projectiles.

IGN reported that M. Bison's biggest power is his ability to deflect incoming projectiles, like Rose who also has psycho power. The villain also has his teleport powers back and seems to be able to recover a bit faster than before. His "Ultra" power, which is his Psycho Crusher, was also seen in the trailer.
