It's not entirely sad news for fans of "Hemlock Grove" as the final chapter arrives mid-2016. Filming for season 3 is already a wrap, according to reports, with new cast members for the characters Annie and Aitor.
Development for the final chapter for the Netflix horror is in full force and news recently revealed that filming of "Hemlock Grove" season 3 has been completed. A report by VCPost announced that the filming has wrapped for the final season and while there has been no official announcement on release date, "Hemlock Grove" season 3 is speculated to come out mid-2016 as have its previous seasons.
The final chapter of "Hemlock Grove" will bring 10 more episodes to its loyal fans, with showrunners proud to bring season 3 to Netflix one last time. In a report by THR, executive producer Chic Eglee said, "We are delighted that our fans have invited us back to explore the fiendish recesses of the human condition for another season."
"Knowing it will be our last gives us the opportunity to go out in a mushroom cloud of clever and soul-shattering mayhem," Eglee continued. "See you soon on the twisted streets of Hemlock Grove."
Netflix's Cindy Holland also shared, "We, along with the fans, are looking forward to visiting 'Hemlock Grove' one last time, and we know that Chic, Eli [Roth] and the team will provide a riveting and mind-bending conclusion to complete the series."
Meanwhile, new cast members joining "Hemlock Grove" season 3 include Richard Gunn who is known for his work in "Garden Party" in 2008 and the TV show "Dark Angel" from 2000 to 2002, and French actress Camille De Pazzi who has appeared in the recently cancelled series "The Following" led by Kevin Bacon.
"Hemlock Grove" seasons 1 and 2 have premiered in April and July, respectively, and speculations point towards a release date for season 3 around the same time next year.
