Thirty four year-old supermodel Gisele Bundchen is slowly evolving from famous fashion icon to eloquent motherhood advocate. The outspoken woman, who is a mother to two children-five year-old Benjamin Brady and two year-old Vivian Lake Brady-endorses the importance of breastfeeding. She has slammed advertisements that continue to uphold beauty standards for working mothers, labeling them as "unattainable".

Bundchen believes that breastfeeding a child for the first six months should be a worldwide law. She explains, "Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?"

The Brazilian model also advises mothers to put themselves first before their kids. She compares this act to the airplane instruction of ensuring that you have put on your oxygen mask first before helping others. Bundchen stresses the importance of nourishing and taking care of yourself. Talking to The Sunday Times Style magazine, she adds, "You can feel a bit guilty- you feel guilty if you do and if you don't. But if I put my oxygen mask on first, if I'm feeling fulfilled and present and good about myself, then I'm going to be a much more patient, loving, understanding mother and wife."

Bundchen has been married to New England Patriots quarterback tom Brady for five years. She admits that this "I come first" philosophy is a struggle for most mothers. It may be difficult balancing roles, but the glamorous working mom seems to be practicing and living what she preaches, as evident in her Instagram account filled with photos of herself and her two children having some precious "alone time".

The model is a vocal advocate of a natural, wholesome lifestyle, and regularly practices yoga, meditation, and grows vegetables in the garden of their Los Angeles eco-house. Bundchen was also said to have meditated through her first eight hour labor.
