A new "Dragon Ball Z" TV series, "Dragon Ball Super," character has been revealed.

Attack of the Fanboy reported that the latest information from the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine confirmed that Gotenks will be in the new "Dragon Ball Z" TV series, "Dragon Ball Super." A mini dialogue was depicted in the magazine by Masako Nozawa, the Japanese voice actress for Goku, Goten and Gohan.

The dialogue showed Goku, Gohan and Goten talking. Goten revealed that he is excited to "still be able to merge a lot of times with Trunks!" This confirmed that Goku, Gohan, Goten and Trunks will return in "Dragon Ball Super." Plus, fans will get to see Goten and Trunks fuse to become Gotenks.

The new "Dragon Ball Z" TV series, "Dragon Ball Super," will premiere in Japan on Jul. 5. Anime News Network reported that this year's 28th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed the series' release date. It will be aired after the "Dragon Ball Kai" series broadcast.

It was previously confirmed that "Dragon Ball Super" will have an enemy who is stronger than Majin Buu or Frieza. Fuji TV producer Osamu Nozaki revealed that he has read the plot created by Akira Toriyama and a stronger villain will emerge. There are speculations that it may be Broly or God-Broly.

Toriyama is credited for the show's story and character concepts. Kimitoshi Chioka of Toei Animation will direct the new "Dragon Ball Z" TV series while Naoko Sagawa and Atsushi Kido join the production as producers along with Nozaki.

"Dragon Ball Super" will premiere on Japanese televisions in July every Sunday at 9 a.m. It will be the first new "Dragon Ball Z" TV series since "Dragon Ball GT" which aired from 1996 to 1997. The story is set a few years after Goku defeated Majin Buu.
