The "Mortal Kombat" franchise isn't such a success without developers listening to fans' request. The DLC to "Mortal Kombat X" titled "Kombatant Pack 2" is coming and it's as demanded by gamers, for the most part at least.
Characters have been the most concern for fans of "Mortal Kombat X" and Rain, who debuted in "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3" reportedly coming soon. The half-god who can control the weather that includes both rain and lightning is rumored to return to "Mortal Kombat X" via "Kombatant Pack 2."
According to reports, players of "Mortal Kombat X" have demanded for Rain to be made available and this has not fallen on deaf ears.
Along with Rain, Meat is another in-demand character in "Mortal Kombat X" and fans request Rain and Meat to be part of "Kombatant Pack 2." The clamour for the characters Rain and Meat's appearance in the next "Mortal Kombat X" DLC continues and now is apparently being heard by the powers that be. Ed Boon of "Mortal Kombat X" revealed via his official Twitter account and teased players, "I'm interpreting this as a sign: 'Meat' must be in Kombat Pack 2 #IfTherIsAKombatPack2."
News from VineReport revealed there may be a possibility of including Baraka and Sindei in the Kombat Pack 2 as well.
Meanwhile, early this month, the Mortal Kombat Community released a video for their new DLC pack and it included the character Tanya. Although people didn't really see her as a strong player in the previous "Mortal Kombat" games, this video changed gamers' perception about her.
The video mainly showed Tanya fighting other characters and it ended with Tanya ripping the heart of another fighter. The pack was made available last June 2 and was sold separately last June 9. The current Kombat Pack also included Jason Voorhees, a classic character from "Friday the 13th" who has a cult following of his own.
