E3 2015 brings another revelation to fans worldwide as Bethesda Softworks unleashed the first trailer of the highly anticipated sequel, "Dishonored 2" set for a 2016 release date!
Everything is happening in E3 2015 and Bethesda is pouring out game revelations! This week, the official first trailer of Bethesda game "Dishonored 2" has been released to the public, revealing gameplay details and the plotline of the sequel. Within a few hours of release, the numbers of view that the trailer garnered reached 200,000 already!
The three-minute trailer takes place in the coastal city of Karnaca, a place where each decision creates a huge impact on the world. The "Dishonored 2" video shows the city's environment with police and robots teaming up to kill commoners.
The trailer also showed the main character, Emily Kaldwin sneaking into a mansion with an assassination plan. As she entered from the mansion, the interior of the house that originally had a traditional theme transformed into a modern design while showcasing a wide range of weapons. The mission seemingly failed as the arrow that was supposed to kill the man was blocked by two robot guards.
"Dishonored 2" trailer then proceeds with Emily fighting off the robotic guards and then chases the target. "Dishonored 2" players can choose between two characters, they can be Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, who was showed in the latter part of the video.
IGN reported the official gameplay plot of "Dishonored 2" that is set for a 2016 release date. "Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the Lord Regent has been vanquished and the dreaded Rat Plague has passed into history," read the report.
"An otherworldly usurper has seized the throne from Empress Emily Kaldwin, leaving the fate of the Isles hanging in the balance. As either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, travel beyond the legendary streets of Dunwall to Karnaca- a once-dazzling coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the mark of the Outsider and powerful new supernatural abilities, hunt down your enemies and forever alter the fate of the Empire."
