The "Gran Turismo 7" release date may be this 2016.
Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi talked to Spazio Games about the "Gran Turismo 7" release date as well as the other issues in the franchise. VG247 reported that Yamauchi was in Paris for the unveiling of the Peugeot Vision GT concept when he confirmed that the partnership between Peugeot and "Gran Turismo" would continue in "GT7."
Yamauchi hinted that the "Gran Turismo 7" release date may happen next year. The series creator mentioned his hopes that the game will be ready before 2017, especially since people are not going to want to wait too long for the racing video game.
It was previously rumored that the game may be published in 2017. Polyphony Digital will not be able to release a game this year and is still in the process of making the title. The high quality of data which is being rendered on the PS4 will be making an incredible difference in terms of gameplay. The company will be doing everything that they were not able to do in "GT6."
Car models for "GT7" will have very detailed interiors and exteriors. Premium cars have also been confirmed to appear in the game again. These cars will have greater damage modeling as well. Yamauchi also revealed that developer Polyphony is working to solve the issues found in other titles in the series.
One of the problems that were seen with previous "Gran Turismo" games was the inaccuracy of the impact simulation when cars collided. Kazunori Yamauchi revealed that Polyphony is taking crash physics seriously and is working on these issues.
Kazunori Yamauchi confirmed that the standard car models that have been constant from 2004's "Gran Turismo 4" will still be there in "GT7." He previously admitted that the standard car models may be made into Premium cars as they become available. However, the developers are more focused in increasing the number of Premium cars.
