Father's Day quotes and gift ideas have been flooding the Internet well ahead of the actual celebrations for daddies everywhere on Jun. 21.

As far as gifts go, last minute purchasing might do the trick but dads deserve the best, and not just a tie or more power tools he can't use. "Your old man deserves better," shared Janel Saldana of the Latin Times.

Finding father's day quotes are a lot easier, and here are some quotes everyone can use to make all dads happy. The quotes below were compiled from  Brainy QuoteQuotery and Good Reads by IBTimes.com.

"When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years,"  Mark Twain said.

William Wordsworth is another great American writer. His thoughts on fathers went, "Father!-to God himself we cannot give a holier name."

American actress and singe Liza Minelli, who sang with all-time greats like Frank Sinatra, said about her father, "I've said it before, but it's absolutely true: My mother gave me my drive, but my father gave me my dreams. Thanks to him, I could see a future."

NBA all star player, Michael Jordan said, "My father used to say that it's never too late to do anything you wanted to do. And he said, 'You never know what you can accomplish until you try.'"

And the last Father's Day quote for Jun. 21 comes from reknowned personality analyst, Sigmund Freud.

"I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father's protection," he said

As far as Father's Day gifts are concerned, sports dads might enjoy spending time with their kids as long as there is sports in the background - baseball might be the best option. If you have an outdoorsy dad, try luring him with a tackle box upgrade that will give him a better chance of a "catch" he can be proud.

And if you're dad is into tech, "Get him the latest trend in drones, the micro done (as a Father's Day gift), it will allow dad to have the time of his life conquering the skies. You can spend a few more dollars and get him the upgraded version, which comes with a built-in camera," Latin Times reported.
