Netflix has been quite secretive about the final chapter of the horror drama series "Hemlock Grove" and fans are anxiously waiting for more details. Apart from the 2016 release date, season 3 will reportedly bring down the Order of the Dragon once and for all.
News on the release date of "Hemlock Grove" season 3 has been a hot topic for quite some time now. Netflix has yet to reveal a specific release date for the horror drama series, but it will definitely come early next year. Based on previous seasons, "Hemlock Grove" has premiered during the first half of the year; so most likely the speculations about a mid-2016 release date is spot-on.
Last May, cast members of "Hemlock Grove" shared a bit of season 3, revealing that primary photography has been completed. If the speculated mid-2016 release date be true, then this update from the actors themselves reinforces the predicted premiere.
In the official Instagram account of Jel de la Fuente who is known as Dr. Johann Pryce in the series, production details of season 3 were revealed. "You are now leaving #HemlockGrove. Please d_i_e carefully. Principal photography wraps today for the third and final season of the show that is warmer, kinder, friendlier than you may ever realize... We hope you enjoy season 3, coming sometime soon," it said.
Meanwhile, although season 3 will be the final chapter to the story behind "Hemlock Grove," it doesn't mean that thrilling twists will wane as the show succumbs to its end. Among the many speculations about season 3 plot involves victory over the Order of the Dragon.
The Order of the Dragon is defined as "is an organization of supernatural hunters that devote their lives to smiting "God's enemies" which mostly include Upirs, Werewolves and Witches." In "Hemlock Grove," members of the Order include Dr. Clementine Chasseur (Kandyse McClure) and Michael Chasseur (Demore Barnes).
