"No Man's Sky" PC release date may be revealed at Gamescom 2015.

The latest trailer for "No Man's Sky" PC and PS4 has been released. VG247 reported that Sony and Hello Games have released the footage without any other news. The video demonstrated what the players need to do: go to space, explore, harvest resources and get chased by eco-guardian robots.

It gave fans a glimpse of the open-world game and its multiple universes. It also showed the perspective from a spacecraft which will be used by players.

In "No Man's Sky" PC and PS4, players take on the role of an astronaut. Each player will start the journey on an undiscovered planet where they are the only person in it. Afterwards, players can board their ship, take off, and begin to tour the galaxy.

"No Man's Sky" PC and PS4 will reportedly have a traversable cosmos of 18 quintillion life-size planets.

The ultimate goal for players is to go to the center of the universe. While playing the game, players may not be able to meet each other easily. But, this common destination increases the likelihood that people will encounter one another on their journey.

It was previously reported that the "No Man's Sky" PC release date may be announced soon, along with the information for its PS4 version. Hello Games' Sean Murray revealed that they wanted to announce a release date at E3 but it did not push through.

"We were actually going to announce a release date at E3, but for reasons we can't," Murray said. "We're going to announce a release date soon, and when we do, it will be for PC and PS4 at the same time."

According to VG247, "No Man's Sky" PC release date as well as for its PS4 version may be revealed at Gamescom 2015. Fans can also stay tuned for the Tokyo Games Show, Eurogamer Expo and Paris Games Week.
