The latest "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer has been revealed.
Earlier this month, Toei Animation streamed a new "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer for the first part of the film series. It featured the theme song, entitled "Butter-Fly," by Kouji Wada which debuted at the Digimon Adventure Fes. 2015 event.
A new visual was also debuted along with the "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer. Anime News Network reported that AiM, also known as Ai Maeda, will return for the ending theme of the first part of "Digimon Adventure Tri" entitled "I Wish."
Ayumi Miyazaki will also be performing the insert song entitled "Brave Heart." All three songs are new versions of songs from the original "Digimon Adventure" anime series. Its CDs will be available on Nov. 25.
"Digimon Adventure Tri" will premiere in Japan this Nov. 21. Instead of a full-length feature movie, "Digimon Adventure Tri" will be made into a six-part theatrical series and the first short-film is entitled "Reunion." It is set 15 years after the events of the original series.
There are speculations that "Reunion" may focus on Tai and Agumon meeting each other again. Atsuya Uki created the character designs while Yuuko Kakihara will act as series script supervisor and Keitaro Motonaga will direct the series. "Digimon Adventure Tri" serves to commemorate the 15 year anniversary of the franchise.
Bandai Namco Entertainment is developing "Digimon World Next Order." It will be released on PS Vita in 2016. The game will focus on Takuto, a senior high school student who has been a fan of "Digimon" ever since he was a kid. He partners with Agumon and Gabumon.
Taiki, who previously worked on "Lord of Vermilion III," is designing the game's characters. Bandai Namco will also be creating a teaser site for "Digimon World Next Order." The latest game in the "Digimon World" series is "Digimonstory Cyber Sleuth," which was released last Mar. 2014.
