Van Halen's music is the most recent update on the "Rock Band 4" song list.

Harmonix has confirmed that Van Halen will be part of the "Rock Band 4" song list. This is the first time for the franchise to feature tracks by the rock band. Their 1984 hit "Panama" will be available at launch as a playable song.

Van Halen's feature in the upcoming music video game is a surprise since the band has been a large part of "Guitar Hero." They even had their own spin-off game named "Guitar Hero: Van Halen."

Entertainment Weekly reported that more Van Halen tracks will be added to the "Rock Band 4" song list after launch. The songs will be downloadable from the Rock Band Music Store.

Aerosmith's "Toys in the Attic," "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure, "Metropolis - Part 1 'The Miracle and the Sleeper'" by Dream Theater, "The Feast and the Famine" by Foo Fighters and "Halls of Valhalla" by Judas Priest are some of the songs included in the game's library.

Other confirmed tracks in the "Rock Band 4" song list are from Live, The Outfield, Ozzy Osbourne, Paramore, Avenged Sevenfold, Fleetwood Mac, Jack White, The Killers, Spin Doctors and The Who. Recent additions were by Benjamin Booker, Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars, Queens of the Stone Age and Scandal.

According to IGN, PlayStation Plus members who pre-order "Rock Band 4" via PSN will get 10 bonus DLC tracks for the game during its launch along with a downloadable "Rock Band 4" theme. Digital pre-orders for the game is now available.

The deal is only available in North America, South America, Central America and Europe. The 10 bonus "Rock Band 4" songs are: "Divide" by All That Remains, "Run for Cover" by Blitz Kids, "Throne" by Bring Me the Horizon, "Mona Lisa" by Dead Sara, "The Reflex" by Duran Duran, "Move Over" Janis Joplin, "Would You Still Be There" by Of Mice & Men, "Sugar, You" by Oh Honey, "Cowboys From Hell (Live from Monsters In Moscow Festival)" by Pantera and "Summertime Boy" by Seasick Steve.

"Rock Band 4" is slated for release on Oct. 6 for Xbox One and PS4.
