"Yakuza 5" PS3 is now available for pre-order via the PlayStation Network.
PlayStationLifeStyle.net reported that "Yakuza 5" PS3 can now be pre-ordered for $33.99. It will include a static theme. The "Fulfiller of Dreams" static theme will feature the five main characters of the game.
Sega has also confirmed that all the Japanese DLC will be released for the game's North American and European versions. The DLC "Another Drama," which features a series of extensive sub-plots that focus on each protagonist, will also be included in "Yakuza 5" PS3.
In the PlayStation blog, Sega has revealed some details on their upcoming game. Players can enjoy practicing at the batting center or try their luck at the UFO Catcher mini-game in between the story plot.
"Yakuza 5" PS3 also has options for sea fishing, poker and bowling, among others. The battle system and customization has been enhanced from its predecessor, "Yakuza 4," for a better gameplay experience.
Creator and director of the "Yakuza" series Toshihiro Nagoshi revealed that Sega is planning to announce a new title at this year's Tokyo Game Show. "I'm so anxious for Tokyo Game Show," Nagoshi said during a NicoNico live stream, via Siliconera.
"Although I'm not allowed to say why I'm feeling this way, yet [sic]. We'll announce [a new title] at Tokyo Game Show, and it'll be a good one. And I believe that Sega's live showing at Tokyo Game Show will be the most exciting one we've seen in a while."
There are speculations that the announcement will be about a new entry in the "Yakuza" series. However, there is also a possibility that the upcoming game will be a new IP. The Tokyo Game Show 2015 will be from Sep. 17 to Sep. 20.
"Yakuza 5" PS3 is set in five major cities across Japan. Kazuma Kiryu is the main character but players can also choose among four other characters. Each character comes from a major city in the game.
"Yakuza 5" PS3 is slated for release later this year.
