IGN reported that Harmonix has announced its next game which will be launched on Fig, a new crowdfunding program. It is expected to be available by the end of this year.

"Harmonix has successfully gone the traditional crowdfunding route before and now we are looking to explore offering both rewards as well as investment opportunities to the community when we launch our next title via Fig in Q4 of 2015," Harmonix's Chief Creative Officer Alex Rigopulos said.

"I'm looking forward to sharing more information with everyone very soon."

Fig's primary purpose is to support video games by "combining benefits of gamer pledges, investor interest and expert curation."
