Actress Kaley Cuoco and her husband Ryan Sweeting have been married for nearly two years, according to CNN.
After 21 months of marriage, the “Big Bang Theory” star and the tennis pro reportedly announced that they mutually decided to get a divorce, a publicist for the actress said in a statement late Friday night.
“They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter," the statement read.
Cuoco and Sweeting faced rumors of separation since April, according to People. Although the couple fought off the rumors, there was “tension” between the two as of late, according to a source for the entertainment website.
“The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together recently, the tension was noticeable," the source stated.
“You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. It seemed they were trying to work out their marriage by going on dates, but they both seemed miserable."
Cuoco and Sweeting reportedly got engaged after three months of dating, and got married in late 2013.
