The "Rock Band 4" song list will include U2 tracks, a first for the iconic band.

IGN reported that Harmonix and Mad Catz announced the band's contribution to the "Rock Band 4" song list. This will be the first time that U2 has been featured in a rhythm action music game.

Two U2 tracks ""Cedarwood Road" from "Songs of Innocence," and "I Will Follow" from their debut album, "Boy," will be available in the "Rock Band 4" song list. Additional tracks will be added in the game after its launch on Oct. 6.

Van Halen's music has also been recently confirmed to be a part of the "Rock Band 4" song list. This is the first time for the franchise to feature tracks by the rock band. Their 1984 hit "Panama" will be available at launch as a playable song.

Harmonix's music video game will include classics like "What's Up?" by 4 Non Blondes, "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure, "You Make Loving Fun" by Fleetwood Mac, "Miracle Man" by Ozzy Osbourne, "No One Like You" by Scorpions and "Your Love" by The Outfield.

Modern hits such as Arctic Monkey's "Arabella," "Fever" by The Black Keys, Fall Out Boy's "Centuries," The Killers' "Somebody Told Me," "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars, and Paramore's "Still Into You" are also include in the "Rock Band 4" song list.

"Rock Band 4" is slated for release on Oct. 6 for Xbox One and PS4. PlayStation Plus members who pre-order the game through PSN will get 10 bonus "Rock Band 4" songs. It will be available during the game's launch along with a downloadable theme.

Fans in Australia will have to wait a few more days before they can get their hands on "Rock Band 4." Kotaku reported that the game's release date in the country has been pushed back to Oct. 15.

Plus, the game's box bundle costs $499.95 when it is priced at only US$249.95 in the U.S. Local distributor Home Entertainment Suppliers has not explained the reason for the delay.
