Every woman certainly wants to look her best on her wedding day. Solange Knowles certainly puts that to mind as she's dressed in a very sleek white dress with cape (in other pictures, she's seen donning a white jumpsuit with a deep V neck) for her wedding with Alan Ferguson. What she didn't anticipate was the breakout of hives.

Solange, pop superstar Beyonce's younger sister and a singer herself, tied the knot with her boyfriend Ferguson, a music video director, on Sunday, November 16, in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she and her son from her previous marriage now live.

Dressed in an all-white ensemble, she and her husband were photographed walking with their respective bicycles to and from the church. In other photos, she's seen with her entourage, which included Beyonce and their mother, Tina.

However, in the newly published photos, she's also seen inside a vehicle with her face peppered with red lumps, which she later confirmed as hives.

It looks like there's nothing to worry about, though, as the star played the condition quite nicely, even thanking through her Twitter account Benadryl, which may be the medication she took to control the outbreak.

She was also too busy being happy on her special day to pay more attention to the hives. In one video, she surprised her guests with a cute dance she shared with her son. She also considered it the "best day of my life and ended it with an abundance of peace, love overflowing through me like never before."

As to how she got it, she attributed it to the incredibly hot temperature, especially since she's also wearing a cape. According to health experts, hives, also known as urticaria, can happen due to a number of triggers, including physical and emotional stress, as well as exposure to abnormal temperatures (too hot or too cold).
