The return of a much younger Peter Parker is an exciting news for Marvel fans and staying true to the comics, the 2017 "Spider-Man" reboot means no love life yet. But Miles Morales, perhaps?

Latest news have revealed that after Andrew Garfield has passed on the Spidey suit to Tom Holland, fans and critics have buzzed around what's coming for the 2017 "Spider-Man" reboot. Apart from the fact that a teenage Peter Parker will grace the screen, the characters usually seen in "Spider-Man" movies will vary greatly.

In an interview with DenOfGeek, the 2017 "Spider-Man" reboot director Jon Watts revealed his reading list for the movie, and how Ultimate Spider-Man is among the sources.

"Ultimate is great. I love Ultimate. We have the freedom to pull from anything, but I really like what [Brian Michael] Bendis did. A lot," shared  Watts.

"That felt like... that was Peter Parker back in high school. And, spending as much time with his high school problems as it did with his superhero problems, which I think is really a lot of fun."

The "Spider-Man" reboot director also hinted the possibility that Mary Jane could appear in the 2017 movie.  "I don't know if you've ever seen the 'Spider-Man Loves Mary-Jane' series, but they have this really great anime-style illustration, and it's all just about Peter Parker's relationships," Watts said.

"It's like the soap opera of Peter Parker in high school. Those are really funny, too," added the reboot director.

Meanwhile, another character has been speculated to appear finally in the 2017 reboot. In an interview with Yahoo, Watts also mentioned that "Spider-Man" production isn't closing its doors to bringing Miles Morales into the mix.

When asked about the appearance of Miles Morales in the 2017 "Spider-Man" reboot, Watts teased, "I can't talk about that, because, you know, that will reveal too much."

"We're still writing the story...we haven't finished all the way through the story yet, so who knows," added the director.

For the "Spider-Man" reboot in 2017, who would you rather : Mary Jane or Miles Morales?
