After years of waiting, finally Bon Jovi fans are excited that a new album is coming in 2016. But where is it now?
Latest updates have revealed that the new album of Bon Jovi has been confirmed by no less than his keyboardist, David Bryan and fans are thrilled.
In a report by TheMusicUniverse, Bon Jovi band member revealed that they have been working hard in the studio, aiming to release the new album sometime in 2016. "I was in the studio all day working on the new record. I walked here from the studio," said Bryan.
Via the same report in an interview with Philly.com, Bryan added, "We always do album/tour. We put out an album [What About Now] in 2013 and toured all 2013 --- 102 shows to 3 million people. We're back in the studio and we'll have an album out next year."
After the new album update slated for a 2016 release date, there has been little news on the progress of the coming Bon Jovi LP. Although the new Bon Jovi album titled "Burning Bridges" has confirmed guitarist Matt O'Ree as the new member for the Asian tour, according to a report by KDramaStars, and that two tracks have been named, there remains to be less updates on the 2016 release, bringing fans to question if the new Bon Jovi album will indeed be coming next year.
Some speculations have pointed out that the crawling development of the new album could be a result of Bon Jovi's separation from its long-time record label, Mercury Records.
A report by Billboard revealed Bon Jovi's confirmation of nipping the ties with Mercury Records and said, "[It fulfills] a commitment to Mercury Records."
"After 32 years, we have parted ways. That is the big news. If you listen to 'Burning Bridges,' the song, it is clearly spelled out. It is the end of an era," added Bon Jovi.
There has been no official release date for the new Bon Jovi album and it could come anytime in 2016. While Bon Jovi's camp hasn't confirmed if there's trouble in the new album "Burning Bridges," fans are wary since not much updates have been revealed for the coming music.
