The music video for One Direction's "Perfect" song has been released.
BuzzFeed reported that Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry Styles just made their fans' Tuesday night more exciting as they did a surprise release for their latest single. "Perfect" is the second track from their "Made in the A.M." album.
One Direction's "Perfect" music video showed the band at a New York hotel. It was shot in black and white, similar to Harry Styles' Instagram posts. The video featured Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry Styles just goofing around the hotel.
It was previously reported that the One Direction song "Perfect" could be inspired by Harry Styles' ex-girlfriend, "Blank Space" singer Taylor Swift. Notorious for writing break-up songs about her previous flames, the band could be giving the pop star a taste of her own medicine.
"And if you like cameras flashing every time we go out," the song's lyrics read. "And if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about, baby, I'm perfect. Baby, we're perfect."
Furthermore, Us Weekly reported that even One Direction's "Perfect" music video seems to be pointing at Taylor Swift once again. The publication commented on the coincidences found on the music video.
The website noted that the 25-year-old songstress moved to New York in 2014 and her hit single "Welcome to New York" made her an official ambassador for the city. There could be significance on the band's chosen location for their music video.
Moreover, when the song got to the part of the lyrics mentioned above, the camera cut right to Swift's ex-lover, Harry Styles. The two singers dated from late 2012 to early 2013.
Taylor's 2014 album "1989" is said to be inspired by her relationship with the One Directioner. Harry is believed to be the inspiration behind "Style" and "Out of the Woods," among others.
