This early, Marvel fans are already hinting that "Thor: Ragnarok" will play a crucial part in the MCU phase 3.

Several reports have already confirmed that the third installment will take the apocalyptic route wherein Asgard's fall will unfold. With this decision, Marvel is now looking for ways to lighten up the overall feel of the upcoming movie which many claims to be the darkest yet.

Just recently, Chris Hemsworth dished on the humor and shared his views about adding more of it in the next movie.

"I think [Thor: Ragnarok] needs to be injected with that sort of smart wit and unexpected kind of humor, kind of what James Gunn came in and did with Guardians [of the Galaxy]," he told Cinemablend. "It was like off center and unpredictable, and I think we can definitely use a dose of that, you know?"

"I feel we had less of the sort of the naivety or fun or humor that the first [Thor] might have had. I wish we had more of that in the second [movie]. ... We've done regal. We've done Shakespeare, and we've shown that. I think now it's time to go, 'Okay, cool. Let's try something different,' and Taika just had such a brilliant sort of take and funny kind of ideas about where we could [go], how we could do that."

While details remain to be limited, recent reports have already hinted exciting developments for the God of Thunder.  Previous reports have already confirmed The Hulk's participation in the next flick, as well as execs going the apocalyptic route of Ragnarok.

Cast and crew of "Thor: Ragnarok" will be busy starting the summer of 2016, as reports claim that they will begin filming in Australia about that time.  With the filming date just a stone's throw away, almost majority of the cast members have already been revealed.  But who won't be returning for the third flick?

"The start of the production for the 'Thor: Ragnarok' has been confirmed next summer, yet the two people who are part of the Warriors Three still hasn't received any invites to appear in the next film," Realty Today reported.

"Ray Stevenson and Zachary Levi were known to be part of the Warriors Three in the past solo Thor films, and Christian Today reports that it is still not confirmed whether the two actors will be part of the new installment. On the other hand, Jaimie Alexander, who plays the role of Lady Sif, has already been invited by Marvel to reprise her role in 'Thor: Ragnarok.'"

And for Jane Foster- Thor shippers, reports are claiming that their romance will continue in the upcoming movie as Natalie Portman has been also confirmed to return along with other notable characters.

"For Thor 3 to bring back supporting cast members Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings), and Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgård), parts of the film must bring the titular hero back to Earth," Screen Rant reported.
