The "Deadpool" movie is "radical" and "different" according to writer/producer Simon Kinberg.
In an interview with Collider, the writer/producer, who is also working on "X-Men: Apocalypse," talked about the "Deadpool" movie. Kinberg also weighed in on the anti-hero's sexuality.
The Merc with a Mouth's gender orientation has been revealed by director Tim Miller. In an interview about the "Deadpool" movie, he was asked whether the film would be "very hypersexualized."
"Pansexual! I want that quoted," Miller told Collider in another report. "Pansexual Deadpool."
Kinberg added that the goal of the "Deadpool" movie is to stay true to the comics. "The character, as you know, identifies as pansexual in the comics, and while we don't explore it in depth in this film, it's definitely alluded to," he said.
The "Deadpool" movie writer/producer revealed that the film will talk about his love story with Vanessa from the comics.
"Well I think that that globally is true in the 'Deadpool' movie," Kinberg told the publication. "It's radical. It's radical in tone, it's radical in form, it's radical in the level of violence."
"It's just a different movie, not just from other comic book movies but I think from any other action movie that's out there right now."
