"Dragon Ball Super" episode 26 will feature the continuation of Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Golden Frieza's fight.
International Business Times reported that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 26 is entitled "A Chance of Victory in a Critical Situation! It Is Time For a Counterattack, Son Goku!" It will be aired on Jan. 10, 2016 since the series will be going on a break this New Year.
The "Dragon Ball Super" episode 26 trailer opened with Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan watching as Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Golden Frieza continued to fight. The villain was shown floating over a fallen Goku.
One scene showed Bulma choking Jaco. Another shot focused on Vegeta with his usual angry look as he watched Frieza.
According to IBT, the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 26 trailer showed Goku coming to terms with Golden Frieza's power. The villain's new form allows him to attack the Super Saiyan with greater accuracy.
"But he [Goku] is not deterred by this and is in no mood to give it up," the publication wrote.
Christian Today noted that the title of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 26 suggests that Goku will be able to recover and "easily turn the table on the battle [sic]." There are also speculations that the Super Saiyan will perform a "conclusive Kamehameha" wave.
The "Dragon Ball Super" episode 26 trailer ended with an image of Champa facing Beerus. The website speculated that this could indicate that the "Champa" saga might start by then.
It was previously reported that the "Champa" arc will begin next month. The Feb. 2016 issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine announced that "Dragon Ball Super" will begin its "God of Destruction Champa" saga on Jan. 24, 2016.
Akira Toriyama is said to be plotting the story and designing new characters. The show's official website hinted at a fighting match between Universe Six and Seven.
