One of the world's tech giant and make of Ipad and Iphones, Apple announced that portion of their sales from the upcoming Black Friday Sale On November 28, 2014 will be donated to the fight against Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and AIDS infections are one predicament worldwide that needs immediate response to finally determine treatment options for those infected. In fact, AIDS is one leading disease that is growing in a fast track for the past years since its emergence in the 1980s. According to statistics from the World Health Organization and UNICEF, about 34 million people worldwide are living with AIDS in 2011. In the same year, death toll of people dying from AIDS is totaled at 1.7 million.
Last Monday, Apple announced that the two-week campaign will begin today. As part of their sale, the Apple Store will have a category and portion called Apps for (RED) wherein there will be 25 applications to be purchased. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Global Fund for AIDS.
The application portion allotted for (RED) will contain exclusive downloads ranging from free in-app content, levels to characters developed for popular games like Bubble Witch Saga and Angry Birds.
With regards to the celebration of the World AIDS Day 2014, the company has promised that portion of their sales both in retail outlets and online stores that will be incurred on November 28, Friday and December 1, Monday will be given to the cause.

For eight years, our customers have been helping fight AIDS in Africa by funding life-saving treatments which are having a profoundly positive impact.
This year we are launching our biggest fundraising push yet with the participation of Apple's retail and online stores, and some of the brightest minds in the App Store are lending their talents to the effort as well."
On Black Friday, all customers of Apple in the United States will receive a (RED) iTunes gift card if they will purchase Apple products. For each card, Apple will donate a percentage to the battle against the worldwide epidemic.
On the other hand, other tech companies are offering bundle deals on Black Friday such as Microsoft's Xbox One deal. Amazon will also offer sales and special deals on laptops, televisions, toys, apparel and other merchandise.
