Anna Kendrick's Beca and Rebel Wilson's Fat Amy may already have graduated but their characters will definitely not be left out in the story for "Pitch Perfect 3."
Christian Post, in its report, revealed that the third installment for the worldwide musical comedy hit "Pitch Perfect" will feature the post-graduation life of Beca and Fat Amy, which will include wedding bells for Rebel Wilson's character. According to the report, Fat Amy will finally find "her happily-ever-after" and will walk down the aisle to marry Bumper (Adam DeVine).
Fans definitely bought the love story between a cappella adversaries Fat Amy and Bumper in "Pitch Perfect 2." The film's producer, Max Handelman, described Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine's chemistry as "strange."
"Their chemistry was very natural and organic," Handelman previously told People. "It was always the thought that we should put Adam and Rebel together because we've seen them be so good together a number of times."
Handelman, who is married to "Pitch Perfect 2" director and returning director for "Pitch Perfect 3" Elizabeth Banks, also said that giving Rebel a love story was one of the first things Banks wanted to do because she thinks "it's something you don't see very often for characters like that."
Christian Post noted that Rebel Wilson, being someone who was bullied in the past, will be the perfect character to find her true love, "someone who will love her beyond her looks." The report added that since fans reacted well with Fat Amy and Bumper's romance, it makes the wedding more certain in "Pitch Perfect 3" following Banks' statement that the sequel will focus on how fans reacted to "Pitch Perfect 2."
Meanwhile, the same report also said that Anna Kendrick, who will reprise her role as Beca, will not be the Barden Bellas' Queen Bee anymore. Accordingly, Beca may be establishing her own team of singers and explore other international competitions to prove she can also be successful outside college.
