The "Dragon Ball Super" anime soundtrack and DVD/Blu-Ray have been confirmed.
Kanzenshuu reported that the first "Dragon Ball Super" soundtrack will be available in Japan on Feb. 24, 2016. Along with this, the series' new theme song compilation will also be released.
The goodies are part of "Dragon Ball Super" anime's 30th anniversary celebration.
"To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the TV anime's broadcast, the series' historical theme songs, from the first opening theme 'Mystical Adventure!' to the 'Dragon Ball Super' theme song, will be collected on the 'Dragon Ball Godly BEST' album set to be released February 24th," the show's official Twitter account announced.
The "Dragon Ball Super" anime soundtrack will feature music from composer Norihito Sumitomo. It will also include TV-sized versions of the series' opening theme by Kazuya Yoshii ("Chozetsu Dynamic!") as well as its first closing theme, entitled "Hello Hello Hello" by Good Morning America.
The soundtrack is available for pre-order on CDJapan and Amazon Japan. It is priced at ¥2,778 (about $23).
The "Dragon Ball Godly BEST" album will include several theme songs such as "Mystical Adventure!" from the original series, "Cha-la Head Cha-la" from "Dragon Ball Z" and "Chozetsu Dynamic!" from "Dragon Ball Super."
"Dragon Ball Super" anime's DVD/Blu-Ray Box #3 has also been announced. According to another report by Kanzenshuu, the box set will include "Dragon Ball Super" episodes 25 to 36 on two discs.
It is slated for release on Jun. 2, 2016. The "Dragon Ball Super" anime's DVD set is priced at ¥11,200 (about $1,700) while the Blu-Ray set will be available for ¥15,200 (about $2,300).
Moreover, "Dragon Ball Super" anime's DVD/Blu-Ray sets will have a special booklet and box with a new illustration. On-disc extras will also include a creditless version of the third series ending theme entitled "Light Pink."
The anime's first box set contained "Dragon Ball Super" episodes 1-12. It was released last Dec. 2, 2015. The second box set is scheduled for release this Mar. 2, 2016.
