Before Tom Holland headlines the 'Spider-Man' reboot in 2017, he will debut as Peter Parker in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, 2016.

Not much has been revealed about the remake, but there are rumors that it could be a continuation of the "Civil War."

During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Robert Downey Jr. may have accidentally revealed that he and Chris Evans will be appearing in the untitled "Spider-Man" reboot. The 34-year-old actor was complaining about the hot weather in Atlanta where they shot "Captain America 3" when the 50-year-old actor made the revelation.

"By the way, we are going to shoot in Atlanta again, you and I," Downey Jr said, as reported by Movie Pilot.

"I know, I'm ready, I'm ready," Evans replied.

Robert may also refer to "Avengers: Infinity War," which is scheduled for release on May 4, 2018 but it seems quite early to start shooting that film since there are still other Marvel movies lined up. According to the website, the "Spider-Man" reboot would most likely be a sequel to "Captain America: Civil War."

"Any cameo appearances from the duo would come as part of an attempt by one (or both) to recruit Spider-Man to their cause (or away from the other's)," Movie Pilot reported.

Early this year, Robert Downey Jr. spilled out some spoilers and assured fans that they can expect the unexpected in a good day.

"However we spin it, we're going to try and defy the expectation of what it would mean," he told IGN. "That's been the directive from jump. But I think that a great job has been done with Spider-Man so far. And I think that the direction that Spider-Man is going to take is exactly what the fans would be delighted to see."

Tom Holland also assured the audience that the "Spider-Man" reboot will be the biggest independent film ever.

"It's not going to be an epic thing; it's going to be a film surrounded by these incredible things, but that follows this boy and his life," he told The Daily Beast.
