DC's "Legends Of Tomorrow," which is The CW's highly anticipated "The Flash" and "Arrow" spin-off series has its premiere date set and also recently released a synopsis, according to Collider.

The show, which premieres this month, has made fans excited to see what the new show may bring to the successful run of DC television. Episode one's synopsis revealed interesting details, including how Time Master Rip Hunter, portrayed by Arthur Darvill, traveled 150 years into the past, to assemble the Legends team.

"Legends Of Tomorrow's" show runner, Phil Klemmer teased eager viewers during a 2015 interview with Comic Book Resources. He also shared how the show differs from "Arrow" and "The Flash."

"This is real different," explained Klemmer to fans. "It takes place on a spaceship that travels through time, and arrives in different eras and locations. It is sort of divided into chapters that are serialized. It's not episodic, bad guy of the week, it is two or three or four episodes in a time period."

Klemmer also added that the show will incorporate into its storyline, significant historic events, revealed IBT.

The spin-off stars "The Atom" played by Brandon Routh, "White Canary" also known as Sara Lance is portrayed by Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller is "Captain Cold" and "Hawkman" is played by Falk Hentschel.

Other members of the cast include Ciara Renée who plays "Hawkgirl," while Dominic Purcell portrays "Heat Wave" and "Firestorm" is played by Franz Drameh and Victor Garber. This unlikely group will attempt to stop one of the formidable villains of all time.

"Vandal Savage," who is portrayed by Casper Crump, is the immortal villain and the first season's main antagonist.

Meanwhile, rumors of "The Atom" starting a romantic relationship with "White Canary" has been floating around. Klemmer did not confirm a relationship between the two characters but said that "when people are on a vessel of any sort, weird things happen between people," cited by Entertainment Weekly.

The highly anticipated show premiers in less than three weeks and the first episode is entitled "Pilot: Part 1," which is co- written by Phil Klemmer and fellow executive producers Andrew Kreisberg, Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim. Glen Winter is the series opener's director, reported Design&Trend.

DC's "Legends Of Tomorrow's" is slated for release Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, on The CW.
